LA CATEDRAL

Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: June 5, 2025
Issued by: Tacos La Catedral – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

At Tacos La Catedral, we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe every customer, regardless of ability, should be able to enjoy our services, access our website, and engage with our food truck with dignity and comfort.

1. Digital Accessibility
We are actively working to improve the accessibility of our website and strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Measures we have taken include:

Using semantic HTML to improve screen reader compatibility

Ensuring sufficient color contrast for readability

Providing text alternatives for all non-text content

Making all navigation accessible via keyboard

Avoiding content that flashes or blinks in ways that could trigger seizures

We are continuously testing and upgrading the user experience in line with ADA standards and best practices for inclusive design.

2. Physical Accessibility
Tacos La Catedral operates as a mobile food service unit. We strive to ensure accessibility in the following ways:

Positioning the food truck in locations that are accessible to individuals using wheelchairs or mobility devices

Providing clear and unobstructed access paths

Offering service at window level, with assistance available upon request

Participating in events that maintain ADA-compliant layouts and facilities

If you encounter accessibility issues at any event or location, please let us know so we can assist immediately.

3. Assistance & Alternatives
We are happy to provide alternative formats, assistance with orders, or direct support to any customer with accessibility needs. If you require additional accommodations—whether digital or in person—please contact us directly. We will make reasonable efforts to respond and provide a solution within 72 hours.

4. Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is not a one-time effort but a continual commitment. We work with advisors and review our platforms and practices regularly to identify and correct barriers to access.
