Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Tacos La Catedral! By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Legal Compliance
Licensing & Permits:
Tacos La Catedral operates in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including:
Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD): Holding a valid Mobile Food Facility Permit.
City of Pittsburgh: Possessing a Mobile Vehicle Vendor License.
Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture: Adhering to the Mobile Food Facility Operation Guide.
Insurance:
We maintain comprehensive liability insurance with coverage of at least $2 million, as commonly required by Pittsburgh venues.
2. Booking & Reservations
Event Bookings:
To reserve Tacos La Catedral for an event:
Advance Notice: A minimum of 14 days' notice is required.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total estimated cost is due upon booking.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due seven days prior to the event date.
Cancellations:
Client-Initiated: Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations within 7 days of the event will be charged 50% of the total estimated cost.
Vendor-Initiated: In the unlikely event that Tacos La Catedral must cancel, a full refund will be issued, including the deposit.
3. Service Terms
Operating Hours:
Our standard operating hours are:
Weekdays: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Weekends: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Extended hours may be available upon request and may incur additional fees.
Menu & Pricing:
Menu items and prices are subject to change based on ingredient availability and market conditions. Custom menus for events must be finalized at least 7 days before the event date.
Setup Requirements:
Clients must provide:
A suitable parking space for the food truck (minimum dimensions: 20' L x 10' W).
Access to electricity (if required) and necessary permits for the event location.
4. Health & Safety
Food Handling:
We adhere strictly to food safety guidelines as outlined by the ACHD and the FDA Food Code.
Allergens:
While we take precautions to prevent cross-contamination, our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens. Clients are responsible for informing guests of potential allergens.
5. Liability & Indemnification
Client Responsibility:
Clients are responsible for:
Obtaining the necessary permits for the event location.
Ensuring the safety of all guests during the event.
Any damages caused to the food truck or equipment by guests or third parties.
Indemnification:
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tacos La Catedral, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities that may arise from the event.
6. Force Majeure
Tacos La Catedral shall not be held liable for any failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, government restrictions, or other emergencies.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, including logos, menus, and promotional materials, is the intellectual property of Tacos La Catedral and may not be used without prior written consent.
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
